Mobile Car Wash Rosemead
Billed as “Today’s Small Town America”, Rosemead is one of the few cities left in the megalopolis that is Southern California who can boast still having a small town feel. Before the Spanish arrived in Southern California, Rosemead was home to the Kizh Native Americans, or as the Spaniards renamed all Native Americans in the area, the Gabrielino. The Secularization Act of 1833 by the Mexican government took all land, such as Rosemead, formerly held by the San Gabriel Mission, and distributed it to private citizens for the purpose of building homes and grazing cattle. Some of the most noteworthy pioneers to develop the area include John and Harriet Guess, Frank Forst, and Leonard John Rose. In fact, it was Rose who bred and trained horses on his property, which he gave the name of, “Rose Meadow’s”, eventually converted to the city’s name, Rosemead.
